How To Set a Custom Ringtone on iPhone (2 Method)

How to manually add a ringtone file to the Ringtones folder
Method 1: Set Custom Ringtone on iPhone without PC
Requirements
- Mp3/m4r ringtone file.. You can download it from www.ringtonedownload.best or google it.
- MusicToRingtone app: You Can get it from Apple App Store
Main procedure to make a ringtone from TikTok sound:
- Open MusicToRingtone app that you have installed on your phone.
- Tap on the Load button and choose from 4 locations. Either pick a song from your iTunes library, music or video files from the Files app, or videos from your photo album. then choose your TikTok sound/ringtone location.
- Start by Tapping the Start button to play the sound.
- Drag the pie section or tap on the + button under the Start label to pick a starting position. Tap on the – button to go back.
- Adjust the duration of the ringtone by tapping the + button or – button under the Duration label.
- Ringtone name can be changed by tapping the red x button, Change Name button.
- Tap on the Save button.
- Tap on Share as GarageBand file.
- Once the share sheet is shown, scroll right and tap on More.
- Scroll to Copy to GrageBand and tap.
- GarageBand will open with the ringtone imported.
- Tap and hold on the file to display the menu.
- Tap on Share.
- Tap on Ringtone.
- Tap on Continue, Export, and OK. Ringtone will begin to export.
Method 2: Set Custom Ringtone on iPhone with PC
Steps to Load the Ringtone on your iPhone:
- Download the m4r file.
- Install the latest iTunes version.
- Connect your iPhone to your computer via USB cable.
- Launch iTunes.
- Follow the prompts on your iPhone and iTunes to trust and allow device access.
- Cancel any prompts that appear asking to sync your iPhone if you don’t use this feature.
- In iTunes, click the iPhone icon on the toolbar, below Controls and Account.
- Scroll down to the Options section and click the checkbox to enable Manually manage music and videos.
- Click Done.
- On the left menu pane, click Tones.
- Drag and drop the m4a file from it’s folder to Tones.
- The ringtone should appear in black text. If it is grayed out or has a dotted wheel icon next to the ringtone name, replug your iPhone and relaunch iTunes. Then repeat steps 10 and 11.
